Once again you have provided me with a Quality piece of exercise equipment. My latest purchase, a reconditioned Commercial quality treadmill, is working great. I use it several times a week. I just wanted to say thanks for all of your advice and the great service you have provided over the past few years.  Guy F.

Private Training

If you have wanted to lose fat, get toned muscles and ratchet up you energy level but just can’t stay on track, you’re not alone!

It is easy said, but difficult to do when you’re on your own with no one to hold you accountable.

You know how it goes:

• You look in the mirror wondering how you got to this point.
• You tell your kids or grand kids to slow down so you can catch your breath or worse they leave you behind.
• You’re tired of the view from the rear or your rear just isn’t what it used to be.
• Maybe you track down and face Jihad terrorists by day but the sight of a little red M&M makes you tremble with fear.
• You have worked hard and have reached some level of maturity; the thought of spending your time visiting hospitals and clinics is not quite as appealing, as great times with family and friends.

I want to get healthier and stay fit and enjoy the companionship of people who want to be with someone who is healthy and alive!

Enough is enough. Get a plan that makes sense and is based on real science. Your odds of success will go way up.

We are surrounded by messages of greed and consumption. Hyper palatable food is inexpensive and available everywhere you go. The food industry is constantly marketing to us to eat more and eat more often. We are pressed for time to succeed and when pinched, we find it easier to give in, than fight for the time to exercise. It’s no wonder our waistlines have expanded along with the wallet share of those food businesses.

Sound nutritional principles, practical training methods, private environment (with high quality equipment) and a positive approach can get you there.
No fads or off the wall programs. A little desire to get more out of life, while having some fun, that’s what it takes.

Program designs incorporate:

• Flexibility
• Core strength
• Balance & Stability
• Muscular Strength & Endurance
• Cardio Vascular Strength & Endurance

Utilizing training methods that will keep you challenged and excited about training.
You will use some traditional exercises, as well as others that are fun and effective. Some of which you may not have had much experience with.

• Bosu Ball
• Stability Ball
• Free Weights
• Machine Weights
• Medicine Balls
• Kettle Bells
• Spartan Style Circuits
• HIIT Hi Intensity Interval Training

If your goal is to:
• Increase your strength
• Improve cardiovascular strength
• Lose some body fat
• Improve your balance
• Look like and feel like an athlete
• Or maybe like you were an athlete
• Be able to tie your shoes
• See your shoes
• Climb a mountain
• Manage your eating
• Jump higher
• Jump?
• Hit the ball farther
• Maybe your goal is to get some goals

I can help!

Here is the skinny
I am a former Pac 10 athlete who majored in Exercise Science
I have worked in athletic clubs
Conducted fitness testing in a collegiate setting
I have coached at the High School Varsity level as well as being tested in the cauldron of fire with elementary aged athletes. I am an NASM certified personal trainer. http://www.nasm.org
I have owned an Exercise Equipment store for 22 years, I pay all my bills with the money I earn, I am full time.
That makes me a professional.
First we begin with a consultation to see what your goals are and what we can expect from each other. After a little conversation we should be able to determine if we can get along and be able to accomplish those goals while having fun.

Then we will schedule an assessment to collect some data that will help with the design of your program and the time line necessary to make it to progressive bench marks.
Some people think they don’t need to know their baselines and where they are starting from, that they will remember the shape they were in but when it comes to sticking with the program objective data is the best.

Things to be determined are:
• Sex
• Age
• Wt
• Ht
• BP
• RH
• MHR
• Submax VO2
• Cardio Training Zones
• Flexibility
• Abdominal Strength
• Upper Body Strength

Now we can set some solid goals, design a program that will get us there, while having fun and learning scientifically supported techniques to keep you in that incredibly, satisfying upward spiral engaged in an optimal life.

Yeah, sounds great but how much will I have to pay for all that success?
I wish I could do it for free, but good things are seldom cheap and cheap things are seldom good.
The true payback is in the savings you will make by living an optimal, fulfilling life.
